Everyone needs
- A photo ID.
- A PESEL number — usually needed for the contract. If you do not have one, we will tell you how to get it.
- A bank account — payouts go there.
- A smartphone with mobile data — the courier app only works on a phone.
- To be at least 18 years old.
EU citizens
An ID card or passport is enough. You have the right to work in Poland by law, with no extra permits.
Non-EU citizens
You need a document that gives you the right to stay and to work: for example a residence card with labour market access, a visa with the right to work, or temporary protection status.
The rules for Ukrainian citizens differ from those for other countries and have changed several times in recent years. So we do not guess: bring your documents and we will check them before you sign.
If your document expires soon, say so straight away. Once a document expires, the app account may be blocked.
Contract and taxes
Most couriers have an umowa zlecenie (contract of mandate) with a settlement company, through which the app pays out. The company pays the contributions and the tax advance, and you receive the amount after deductions. Students under 26 on an umowa zlecenie do not pay ZUS contributions.
You can also work through your own business (działalność), but that means separate bookkeeping and contributions. Ask an accountant before you decide.
Need a bike for work?
An electric bike with service and a replacement bike included — from 170 zł a week.
Common questions
Can I start without a PESEL number?
It depends on the type of contract. Tell us your situation — we will say whether you can start right away.
Should I send document scans through the form?
No. We do not collect scans or document numbers through the website. You show your documents in person when you register.
I have a tourist visa. Can I work as a courier?
With a tourist visa alone — no, it does not give the right to work. Come with your documents: we will check whether there is another way in your situation.
