What we repair
- Tube and tyre punctures — including in the motor wheel.
- Fitting reinforced, puncture-resistant tyres.
- Broken spokes — they break more often in a motor wheel because they carry more load.
- Wheel truing.
- Rim and hub bearing replacement.
Tyres for courier work
Couriers ride over kerbs, glass and tram tracks with a heavy bag on their back. A thin leisure tyre gets punctured here every few days. A tyre with a puncture-protection layer costs more, but pays for itself in the first month: less downtime means more orders.
In winter we fit a tyre with better tread and set the right pressure for wet and slippery roads.
Common questions
How long does a tube change in a motor wheel take?
Usually fifteen to twenty minutes on the spot, if we have a tube in your size. Send us the size from the tyre sidewall — we will check before you come.
Is it worth going tubeless?
It is not possible on every bike and does not always pay off. For a courier, a reinforced tyre with a tube is usually the better choice. We will advise for your bike.
