When to come
- Range dropped noticeably in a short time.
- The bike cuts out under load although the gauge shows charge left.
- The battery does not charge fully, or the charger stops at once.
- The battery gets hot, swells or smells burnt — stop using it and do not charge it.
What we do
- Diagnosis: voltage of every cell group and a BMS check.
- Replacing damaged cells — spot-welded, not soldered.
- BMS repair or replacement.
- A new cell pack in your existing case.
Safety
A lithium battery is the most demanding part of an electric bike. We do not repair packs that are physically damaged or swollen — in that case we tell you plainly that you need a new battery.
Common questions
Is battery repair worth it?
If some cells or the BMS are damaged — usually yes. After diagnosis we tell you what the repair costs and what a new battery costs. You decide.
How long does a battery repair take?
It depends on cell availability. We give you the time after diagnosis.
